LifePath Unlimited – The Sale The Suspect & The Script

First and foremost I want to thank the readers who visit and email me the kind words of inspiration, as this blog is now realizing “IT’s PURPOSE”, awesome!
Now lets get into the nasty! the nitty gritty of what will take your business to the next level. I recieve countless emails suggesting: I was sold on leadership, later to get a nice car without gas and in most cases a missing engine.
So you’re here trying to build your business. You have become your own “Network Mechanic” trying to build this vehicle that will catapult you to financial freedom.
So problem numero “UNO”! is this. Everyone is a TOP INCOME EARNER!, lol (that means laugh out loud for the not so hip and in the new netprenuer) the statement is as vague, and as misleading as our current presidential nominees plan of action to stimulate our economy. Without full detail what does Top Income Earner mean ? For the sales associate does that mean TOP 50, TOP 10, TOP 1000, so the statement loses validity when you challenge it’s scope. Speaking of scope I need mouthwash because what I am going to say is going to get real NASTY! I dare any associate call me with the phrase Top Income Earner in there sales pitch and I will say YOU ARE FULL OF SH#T.
You see your self proclamation of TOP INCOME EARNER, means nothing to the solution your prospect is seeking. Given our current economic times, do you feel it’s morally O.K to rub into someones face that you make 30K a month ? Furthermore, your Income is dependent on the sale at hand ? You dumb ass! you just opened up a Pandora’s box, that now puts a prospect on defense, because as opposed to finding a solution to their problems, they are finding there problems to be of equitable VALUE TO YOU! this is the first mistake.
The Script: Uh, My – Name – Is – John- and (IN ROBOT VOICE) … Yeah throw that mess away, the sales process is supposed to be romantic, fluent, it’s supposed to give your prospect that cuddly wuddly feeling in the inside, it’s supposed to exploit their emotions and intentions, not pitch them on why YOU ARE A TOP INCOME EARNER or worse, encourage psychological warfare. You see so many Network Marketers use the, POSTURED, comically ignorant approach to solicitation (I don’t give a rats ass, thank you, you are not qualified, get on and off the phone, If you are really ready you would have the money !, and GIVE IT TO ME BECAUSE I AM A TOP INCOME EARNER, OTHERWISE YOU ARE WASTING MY TIME). For you marketers out there. WHO THE HELL ARE YOU? This is supposed to be a people business, with credibility and customer service at it’s foundation, not some grade school display of defamation. So my advice to you is drop the attitude the script, and everything your sponsor ever taught you, Hell even do away with the 3-way, the ultimate credibility buster: Hi I’m John and I am a Top Income Earner, a Leader, but meet Dave, together we are going to pressure sell the living brains out of you!, you think it was bad when your wife left you? It’s gonna get worst when we leave you as well
So in conclusion I want to suggest something so obvious and a generally accepted business pratice. Give the customer what they want, in order to get WHAT YOU WANT, this is a concept as old man, and you do that by being informative, credible, and CUSTOMER SERVICE. Honestly would you buy a dell, if they never provided technicl support ? Uh just LIKE HERTZ, Not EXACTLY, so if this is a business, why does the model change ?
The Suspect: So you have a faulty script! a corrupt leader, not a clue, and YOU ARE BUYING LEADS ? Oh no! You just had a revelation, NO ONE IS INTERESTED! Your sponsor said “this is what I do”, “just plug in the system, it’s all about duplication” REALLY ? well either your sponsor is duplicating failure and introduced it to you, OR HE IS DOING SOMETHING ELSE !
That something else is this little secret. Purchase leads are suspects, Leads THAT COME TO YOU, are PROSPECTS. Thus a credible and effective Lead Capture page is essential. Wait a minute the company has that too built into the SYSTEM, your using it to a demise. WTF is going on ? Well I will let you in on the secret. The landing pages are not geared to brand you or your business, BUT TO BRAND THE COMPANY, put an Army out there of 1,000 people with the same sales message, and you have effectively passed the cost of branding to your associates. SCARY RIGHT ? so how do you fix that ? Invest in yourself and your business with an effective landing page, that is professional and geared to aggregate the lead, BEFORE YOU GO BROKE!
So now you have a kick arse Landing Page (yes I am curbing my language, cuz the minty fresh and clean Scope is a hell of a mouth wash) Ok, back to the subject matter. You have a Landing Page, now how do you drive traffic to get LEADS ? Uhhh SPONSORED SEARCH! Google ADWORDS, PAY PER CALL, and PRESS RELEASES. Wait a second ? why didn’t your sponsor tell you about this ? Well maybe s(he) doesn’t know, or maybe, just maybe They care not to ration that MOUNTAIN OF GOLD, because once you are in the know, YOU ARE COMPETITION. Ok enough with Conspiracy Theory. Contact me, if you need a little constructive criticism, or desperately need to save your business, Ill beat ya up, smack you around, but the bruises will be treated by the soothing feeling of a growing bank account, which will allow you to afford health coverage, and you are going to need it, because I am going to mentally destroy you with the truth and vigorous sense of accountability. Lifepath Unlimited: Marketing In A Recession

A recession is a contraction phase of the business cycle, or “a period of reduced economic activity.”[1][2] The U.S. based National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) defines a recession more broadly as “a significant decline in economic activity spread across the economy, lasting more than a few months, normally visible in real GDP, real income, employment, industrial production, and wholesale-retail sales.”[3] A sustained recession may become a depression.
So how does your business beat this trend ? Is your product recession proof ? Is your business model based and geared to provide growth in troubled times ? I recently invested in Coca Cola, because they provide a product that is virtually recession proof. The bubbly refreshment will always be in demand! Why ? because for some it’s a need based product. However, what I love about what management has done is they have created a solid brand, that needs no introduction. The world knows the type font, the color and most importantly “that great refreshing taste” ok that was overdoing it but this brings me to my point, Branding, is the cheapest most economical way of marketing. Creating a blanket of awareness, is the point. So if and when your audience decides to buy you are first on the list.
When I think of tools, wood, table saw, I’m thinking Home Depot, office supplies, Staples..But they are not on the tube all the time, only when I need them. So they have created a marketing campaign that says “We are here, this is our name, and this is what we sell, let us show you how we can help”.
What Network Marketers tend to do is what I have termed. Pic-a-boo Selling/Marketing. The whole now you see it now you don’t kind of marketing. The reason why this happens is many marketers place so much weight on the sale at that moment, “When the prospect sees it” , the marketer then fails to leave a trail, or brand, so when the marketer gets off the phone, “the prospect doesn’t see it”. Wait you have auto-responders right ? well these are simply Pic-a-boo solicitations, that mind “F#ck” your prospect often times pushing a hot prospect to the point of NO PROSPECT. (More on this later)
There is power in an equitable brand, so effort must be made establishing credibility before the phone call, and after. This will create a frame of reference. If you are JOHN DOE, brand yourself as such, people will remember your name, and when they are ready to “BUY” they will, and FROM YOU!…Top branding Tips Coming Soon!

Many will find that marketing an opportunity is the most difficult element of operation. For many coming into Network Marketing the learning curve is often too steep to see business past 2 months. The devout will continue to truck on until they find the holy-grail, some will find it, others will not but it doesn’t have to be that way. Consider this posting like your personal Tom Tom, or GPS system, that will guide you down the road to success.
Learning to market online is considered Chinese to most, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Here are some tid-bits that are sure to get your engine going. Remember the opportunity is the vehicle, you and your marketing are the fuel to get to that destination we call “financial freedom”. So what do you need ? and what should you know ?
Well first off you need a landing page that is converting anywhere between 9 and 11 percent. What this means is per 100 visits to your lead capture page you should look to aggregate about 9 to 10 leads. That number should remain relative as you increase your traffic, want more leads, drive more traffic. But how ?
1. Google Adwords. In this competitive industry you should look for targeted or backdoor key-terms that cost no more than .45 meaning 9 to 11 highly qualified leads should not cost you anymore than $45.00 and when I say quality we are talking about individuals qualified to buy your product.
2. Forums. Forums are a great way to build brand recognition and become the authority in the industry, basically by contributing to these forums, targeted for home business that is, you are establishing a brand, and thus resources for your prospect to perform their due diligence, careful as the politics involved in these forums can be partisan, so avoid the nitpicking often associated with who’s opportunity is better.
3. Ingenio.com – They have an interesting advertising model that is called PAY-PER-CALL, what is done here is just like what google does with Pay-per-click however you only pay for the calls that actually come through to your line. This is great because you are actually using the internet to create that belly to belly atmosphere, getting someone on the phone sometimes is the most critical component of building a business in this industry and advertising with Ingenio will certainly expedite the sales process.
4. Blogs – Blogs are often overlooked but are a great tool to drive traffic to your opportunity. Using blogs with great content and information can act as a gateway to your business, and often helps the reader-author relationship thus creating credibility and turning your reader into a prospect. Do not confuse linking from your blog to your landing page as search engine optimization, simply because LANDING PAGES CANNOT BE OPTIMIZED and the SERP’s hate them LOL, Imagine google allowing all these 1 page ads on the first page……………….what will happen on Wall street???? uhhh exactly!!!!!
5. Viral Marketing – It’s fun easy and exponential, with viral marketing basically you simply build a funny e-mail, or something that will entice your audience to want to pass on. This could be the “Joke of the day” or the whatever your creative mind conjures up. Ever got a funny email from your pal at work ? then sent it on over to your pals ??? Yes the concept is the same, however you may want to include sponsorship on the bottom. Basically something like, this email was brought to you by xyz.com…….This is a great way of marketing and building brand recognition, and best of all IT ISN’T SPAM!
6. FREE – What man on earth doesn’t like the word free. Include it in your landing page somewhere. An idea would be, fill out the form for your free consultation to find out if this business is right for you. Basically what you have suggested is that there is value in your time, and the reader/prospect will subconsciously absorb the concept, thus they are more willing to qualify themselves as opposed to you qualifying them.
7. Have Fun – This industry is all about lifestyle so have fun with it, be patient, it took me over 8 months before I cracked the 20K a month touted throughout the industry, and the reason for that was because I was not having fun, I sounded like a robot on the phone, I stressed myself out as I attempted to migrate from work to full stay at home “netpreneur” and spent too much time buying leads and getting frusterated before I decided to put my creative mind to use and started marketing on the net myself, and I will tell you 2 years and over 3.5 million dollars in revenue latter, I can provide you the readers the leadership and understanding that was promised by my immediate sponsor but was never delivered. So here you go, you have a head start, have fun with it, and if you have any other marketing ideas feel free to post via a comment. This blog gets well over 700 unique and recurring readers a day, so please don’t shy away.
