How To Generate Leads For Your Lifepath Unlimited Business
Lifepath Unlimited
Lifepath Unlimited is a great company just like New York City is a “Great City”, hell I’m a die hard Yankees fan and well they are a big part of why I think New York is great.
But…
Have you ever visited New York, and asked for directions ? Well most New Yorker’s will never shy from sharing their google maps like knowledge to a tourist, or newest resident, but hearing directions and getting there are two very different things. Anyone dare to take the train ? OMG … what stop ? it all looks the same in the subway. For most it is a scary, and intimidating experience. But wait they were given enough instruction on how to reach their destination right ? But the part that fails most tourist and new comer’s alike is the fact that they know their destination, they have been given instructions on how to get there, but they don’t know where to begin, how to catch the train, how to adequately express to the cabbie where you are going. East 42nd street is not west 42nd street, and well if you know your intersection which most new yorkers do than west 42nd and 8th avenue will give the cabbie an approximate location, BUT NOT YOUR DESTINATION
Lifepath Unlimited …
is very much the same. How so ? well let’s talk about all these calls, fresh start call, morning wake up call, marketing training call, Beyond Discovery Call, Fast track call, Team calls, feel good calls, how to change my coffee filter calls, how to shovel the 80 inches of snow that landed on my drive way calls, LOL, that’s laugh out loud, for the internet newbie.
All these calls, and well just like a well traveled New Yorker, they are simply giving you instructions or directions. But if all you are doing is getting instruction, than chances are you never moved, and will not get to your destination.
That’s where I come in…
My focus is on lead generation and brand building.
Lead generation is the most important element to your business success in Lifepath Unlimited, but for crying out loud why isn’t there a Lead Generation Call. Now some will say well we have a marketing training, and I will say that’s great. but marketing is not exactly lead generation. Marketing is simply marketing. Let me explain…
Are You Marketing For The Following Things:
Awareness ?
Brand ?
Search Engine Positioning ?
Education ?
Empowerment
All these reason’s are great for marketing but wait a second, YOU NEED TO GET RIGHT TO THE LEAD GENERATION, in order to start making money right ? All the marketing element’s stated above, though critical to your long term, do not help the immediate present. You need leads and you need them now.
I don’t sell leads, I don’t teach you to buy leads, nor do I advise you join some co-op to generate leads. Co-ops have a tendency to be biased…branding one person, and seems a fair trade-off for someone who knows shit about what they are doing, but it is not effective or money well spent, as you are foregoing the opportunity to BRAND yourself which can easily be done in conjunction with LEAD GENERATION.
So how do we generate leads ? THROUGH GOOGLE ADWORDS…
Now so many so called “marketers” will say OH NO NO NO, that’s too expensive or It cost’s too much. I say, shut up , because we generate leads at a cost of 2 dollars a lead on GOOGLE, YUP true story.
It’s all about getting to where you are going and NOT getting lost. Kind of like in NYC.
Many do not understand the laser targeted traffic google offer’s, many do not understand the amount of leads, that can be generated using the internet. Many do not understand the possible return on investment that if afforded by using this medium for building your business big and strong.
Ask the like of Jeremy Miner, how google with email marketing, helps him generate 200K plus per month.
So what possible secret could I give you to adwords success? First let me share with you that, secrets are for kids, and adulterous husbands, but what I will share with you is a method to your google marketing success, to help you build your Lifepath Unlimited business.
Without letting the horse out the barn per se, heed to these tips
There are several tricks to advertising on Google Adwords that unless you know them, it becomes almost impossible to turn a profit on your advertising.
Secret #1 – Only bid on exact match keywords
Google Adwords has a few different ‘keyword matching options’ available. When a keyword is placed in brackets like this:
[keyword], it is called an ‘exact match.’ This means that only when someone enters that EXACT keyword phrase will your ad appear. It might occur to you that by limiting your keyword(s) to only exact match, you are eliminating all those people that may be searching for the phrase “cheap widgets” or even “widget” singular, since only the keyword “widgets” plural is an exact match. Believe me, this is exactly what you want. Sure, it will take extra time to create an adgroup within the Google Adwords system for each keyword phrase you want to bid on, but you will know with 100% certainty which keyword(s) are converting into leads this way. If you do NOT use the exact match option in Google Adwords, then there is absolutely no way to know which keyword(s) are resulting in leads to sales on your site.
Secret #2 – Bid to be in position #2 or 3
When someone searches on Google for your keyword, the first page of search results are going to reach the most people. What you want to do is position your ad in one of the top 3 spots. You don’t want position #1 necessarily, because that position costs the most and doesn’t give you much more benefit than being in position 2 or 3. You pay less for these spots than position 1 and gain most of the benefit.
By being in one of these top spots, your ad gets a higher ‘click-thru rate’ (CTR). This is good is because the Google Adwords system actually rewards you for having an ad with a high CTR by charging you less per click! Google Adwords exists to make money for Google. If they have two companies advertising for the same keyword, and your ad pulls a 10% CTR and your competitor’s ad for the same keyword pulls a 5% CTR, then Google Adwords makes more money from your ad. Google Adwords rewards you for this higher CTR by charging you less per click than your competitor!
Secret #3 – Negatively qualify your ads
Admittedly, the problem with having an ad that has a great CTR is that it gets a lot of clicks! Unless your traffic converts into sales, it’s hard to turn a profit on your Google Adwords ads. The key is to put words in the ad that DISCOURAGE people from clicking on the ad unless they ‘pre-qualified’ to convert to a sale. For example, if you have site that sells widgets that cost $10.00 each, then put something in one of the lines of text in your ad like ‘Widgets cost only $10.00.’ The only catch is that if your ad isn’t getting a very good CTR in the first place, then a negative qualifier is only going to reduce your CTR.
