Answering Multi Level Marketing Online Or Old School

Whether you want to admit it or not, we are all in sales and marketing.  This is a fact we must all accept…as the old adage goes nothing happens until something gets sold.  You can call it or package it as you see fit (MLM, network marketing, direct sales,building a downline,  attraction marketing, lead generation, internet marketing) it all comes down to the same focus and conclusion, the sale.  The difference comes down to the tactics and methods used to get the sale.  Today let’s look at answering multi level marketing online or old school.

In the last few years all of us have migrated to the internet more and more for the access to infinite amounts of information, right?  Enter a keyword and hitting that Google search button is all too powerful to ignore.  With that said, imagine using that addictive activity to your advantage.  What if you offered content about you, your network marketing business, product, or service and placed it online for others to find along their chosen search path?   How many interested people would find you and take a look? 

Let’s look at a real example using the search topic how to embrace online marketing

This Google search has 1.3 million plus competing pages for these keywords or terms, 11 pay per click advertisements and 1.2 million plus monthly global searches (online marketing)as seen with Google Keyword tool.  Customer Traffic, YES!

By placing my article and video under these keywords, that’s me, I have the potential for many people to read, view and listen to a solution to their search topic 24/7 from all around the world.  After finding the help they were seeking they might look further into me and what I do and visit my websites or blog, which can lead to sales. 

Here’s a picture for you, what if you had 20, 40, 80 of these points of contact offering content and solutions for interested people to work their way back to you and your network marketing business, amazing right?  The bonus is the system you have put in place using the internet has completed much of the qualifying for you without your repetitive efforts.

Now let’s refresh our minds on the old school ways all of us are familiar with in network marketing.  I apologize for the painful memories, but here goes…talking to anyone & everyone that can fog a mirror, friends & family, interested or not, handing out flyers, clubbing them on the head, dragging them to home meetings, and ultimately running out of people after combing your limited local area…finally ending the run burned out with little potential to continue.  Ouch!  No worries, you have a solution below.

Ok, I know that this is just one example, but it is the fate of 95% of network marketers using the old school ways.  The upside is many of the old school network marketing skills used here are valuable to an online marketing effort.  No matter the way to the customer and sale you must be able to communicate effectively with people via email, phone, and even face to face to have success.
