Hip-hop artists Eminem and Lil Wayne, alongside indie rock band Arcade Fire, have been announced as the headliners for the 2011 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. Organizers for the annual event unveiled the full lineup Tuesday morning.
Other acts scheduled to perform include The Black Keys, The Decemberists, J. Cole, Florence + the Machine, Dr. John and the Original Meters, Wiz Khalifa, Alison Krauss & Union Station, Mumford & Sons, Robert Plant & Band of Joy, Buffalo Springfield, and The Strokes.
Gregg Allman, Big Boi, Matt & Kim, Primus, Robyn, and Widespread Panic are also included in the star-studded lineup.
Buffalo Springfield’s set will be their only festival appearance of the summer, and according to Billboard.com, it will feature Richie Furay, Rick Rosas, Stephen Stills, Joe Vitale, and Neil Young.
Dr. John and the Original Meters will collaborate to perform their 1974 album Desitively Bonnaroo at the festival. The 12-track album inspired the annual event’s moniker, according to HitFix.com.
The 10th Annual Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival will take place June 9-12 in Manchester, Tennessee. Tickets will go on sale Saturday, February 19 at 12:00 p.m. ET.
